Please join us for coffee with an affordable housing update on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 8:00am to 10:30am at WakeMed’s Andrews Conference Center.
Lorena McDowell, Wake County Director of Housing Affordability & Community Revitalization, will present a status update on the implementation of the Wake County Affordable Housing Plan. Following that will be an overview of the potential affordable housing bond and other affordable housing efforts by City of Raleigh staff.
This is an opportunity for you to join a variety of stakeholders to learn about Wake County’s progress and the exciting things the county has planned for FY ’20-’21. It will also provide a better understanding of the City of Raleigh’s efforts focused on affordable housing.
You will have the chance to network with other supporters of housing affordability, ask questions to the presenters and complete a brief survey to identify ways they would like to participate in future activities focused on addressing housing issues in the county and its municipalities.
